Transforming your body

By William on August 19, 2020

After 10 years of bodybuilding, I went through many different stages. When I read your reviews, emails or questions, most of the time I understand very well what you are going through because I went through it.

Today I am fortunate to have a healthy and positive relationship with my body. It’s not perfect and yet I won’t trade it for anything in the world.

Through my articles, books, free programs, trainings and challenges, my goal is to help you be physically stronger, healthier and gain self-confidence.

Over the years I have learned something ULTRA important, which I think is the key that explains my approach and which I will tell you in this article.

Are you ready?

The key to physical transformation is not focusing on what your body looks like, but what it can do.

Why am I telling you this? Because in most cases this is what happens :

You want to change your physique, your level of motivation is maximized, you find a program to follow, a challenge to a new type of training and one that completely changes your diet, does not scare you, you go forward, determined and convinced that this is the time – correct!

You lasted 1 day, 2 days … 1 full week! Then daily events start to invade your plan, it gets more and more approximate, motivation drops, you fall behind what you planned until you can no longer catch up, and then you end up falling out of your hands and getting back to work. your old habits.

And this hellish cycle begins again periodically and can last for years!

Why doesn’t this work (at least for most people)?

By definition, motivation fluctuates. NOBODY is always 100% motivated. Motivation fluctuates for everyone, and what will make a difference is sticking to your plan during times when motivation is at its lowest.

I have found that the best results are achieved when:
– We put less pressure on ourselves !!
– We measure our progress against criteria other than visual criteria.

Physical results should be a consequence of improving your lifestyle, not your only goal. You are more focused than your physical body on changing what your body can do and improving your health. The visual results will come on their own, and it won’t stop you from evaluating them.

STEP 1) Make peace with your body

I think you have to learn to love your body here and now. Don’t expect to be more or less like that. It’s time to make an ally out of this and be kind to him.

That’s why I created this little free challenge to help you learn to love and gain confidence.

This step will help you relieve the pressure you are putting on yourself and move closer to others in a more relaxed way.

STEP 2) Improve your physical ability

There is no better feeling than what you feel when you implement a new performance that no one would ever have thought to implement in one day! The body is made to move. Improve your strength, strength, coordination, mobility, endurance … Get better!

At the same time, you will strengthen your muscles, bones, tendons, immune system … in short, your health! And this is beneficial for the future.

STEP 3) Eat a positive diet

Instead of saying “I shouldn’t eat this,” say “I’m going to eat this because I want to feed my body the best.” See what you can include in your diet to optimize your health, instead of jumping to the list of what you should remove!

Best tools:

  • – personal development (self-confidence, minimalism, etc.)
  • – bodybuilding and all sports using weights (muscle building, strength sports, weightlifting, crossfit, etc.)
  • – human nutrition based on science and … common sense!

No age to start!

When we talk about improving the capabilities of the body, this applies to all levels.

For some people, this will mean taking part in sports, for others doing exercises or movements they didn’t know how to do, or for others it may simply mean climbing stairs without pain or difficulty!

And above all, do not forget that the human body is incredible, it is NEVER LATE to control your body and your health. And it is by focusing on what your body can do that you will achieve a lasting physical transformation.
